We Just Won the Best of Intima Magazine 2019 Trailblazer's Award!

On Sunday, August 4 th , the 2019 Best of Intima Awards Gala was held at New York
City’s elegant Tribeca Rooftop. This year was the 15 th edition of the awards, which
brings together the finest professionals in the lingerie industry. The competition is
organized by The Best of Intima Magazine, and stores are nominated by a jury of top
brands.

The awards recognize North America’s best independent lingerie, swimwear and
loungewear retailers, and are the most prestigious of the lingerie industry. It is the
event of the year for stores, and it connects everyone in the lingerie industry across
North America.

Kerry O’Brien, founder of Commando, presented Michelle Ricciardi, owner of Flirt
Lingerie and Bra Fit Boutique in Warwick, NY, with The Trailblazer’s Award.
Ricciardi was one of three recipients in North America to receive this award, which
recognizes, “Stores who display innovative ideas and bring a new approach to the
retail business.”

Commando’s O’Brien described Ricciardi as one who, “Represents female
entrepreneurship and empowerment.” According to O’Brien, “Michelle has created
a destination for intimate apparel in Warwick, NY. She takes product education very
seriously, and has become an expert in fit and fabrication – passing her knowledge
onto customers. She is always asking questions and staying abreast of innovations
and advancements in our industry,” said O’Brien.
